You’ll be collected from the ship and driven for about an hour in air-conditioned comfort to Sealine, the entrance of the desert. You’ll pause here while the 4×4 vehicle is prepared for the sandy drive ahead. Then the fun really begins.
 
Your qualified driver will navigate the dramatic sand dunes, which can reach up to 40 metres high. You’ll see a snapshot of local life as you travel, passing villages, camps and camels as you make your way to Khor Al Adaid, or the inland sea, where miles of golden sand spill into azure waters. 
 
This large tidal bay is a piece of paradise, recognised for its outstanding natural heritage. Spend time taking in the peaceful desert landscape, paddle in the warm waters, visit the towering Sheraton dune, and snap plenty of photos. Then there’s a quick comfort break at the desert camp before you head back to Doha after an unforgettable trip.
