IGOR’S MAGICAL RECYCLED SCRAP ART
VILLAGE LIFE & WINE
LIMITED AVAILABILITY – FOR 6-12 GUESTS
On the southern tip of the Dalmatia region of Croatia, the picturesque city of Dubrovnik earns its reputation as the pearl of the Adriatic. Steeped in history and culture, its famous medieval architecture and fortified Old Town have made it a firm favourite of tourists and location scouts alike.
You’ll take in the sights, sounds and smells of the Old Town as we kick off your experience with a guided sightseeing tour, before dropping in on Igor
Hajdarhodzic – Dubrovnik-born actor turned artist. It’s Igor’s passion for traditional boat making that provides the inspiration for his art. Specialising in boats made from recycled materials – including scraps from old boats – he breathes new life into previously discarded objects.
At his workshop, you’ll have a chance to chat to Igor himself about how the creative magic happens, before strolling on to Stradun, the Old Town’s main street, where Igor has his art gallery. Browse some of his unique art here, then move on to his home and private art gallery, where you’ll get an exclusive private viewing of his personal art collection.
As we make our way back to the ship, there’ll be another chance to soak up the atmosphere in this beautiful city, where art and architecture take centre stage.
